Happy National Avocado Day! Celebrate with an Avocado Mask

Happy National Avocado Day! How do you like your avocados? Whether it's with a sprinkle of salt, or mixed with tomatoes, cilantro, lime, and jalapeno for guacamole (you can check out Avacados from Mexico for an assortment of recipes), avocados are have some amazing health benefits, including for your skin!   All I've Avo Wanted™  is a Face Mask that uses only the best ingredients and deeply nourishes with avocado oil, rich in oleic acid—an essential fatty acid to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines—delivering long-lasting moisture to dry, thirsty skin for a supple, more youthful looking complexion with a nourishing cocoa butter base. Perfectly Posh Starring YOU! Our trip to Nashville

Oh My Posh! I seriously had THE BEST time at our yearly convention (this is my 4th one to attend) in Nashville, Tennessee!! I will say it took God's grace and mercy to get us there because we had car problems (an alternator to be exact) that almost ruined our trip. Luckily my husband is mechanically inclined so he was able to get us on the road. AND on our way out, helped a Posh sister who got stranded on her way heading back to Virginia.  Needless to say, the trip was a memorable one! (That's a picture of us stopping at Pro Bass Shop at the Pyramid .) From out of this world training from our Home Office, Top Leaders in the Company, Lori Greiner from Shark Tank spoke, Alison Faulkner of The Alison Show (She is seriously amazing!!), the launch of our new line for Fall Pampering, a fantastic and highly entertaining Drag Show featuring Viva La Divas , a very close and personal concert given by Sara Evans (we stood literally feet from her on the stage, AND I even got to hav...

Have you pampered lately?

I get to ask this question so many times to so many amazing women, and men, who I know are constantly "going, going, going" with kids, spouses, furbabies, work, school, being a caregiver, and life in general....it's my job to help others take better care of themselves. BUT SERIOUSLY.... Have you pampered lately?  (photo circa 2016) When I say pamper you probably think of having to shell out boo-bucks of money, having to find a sitter, and then needing to dedicate several hours of your precious time, if not a whole day, am I right? I thought so too, until I found Perfectly Posh  naturally-based pampering products. They are made here in the USA with amazing ingredients that are sustainably sourced from throughout the world, and all of their products are under $25 (with the exclusion of their amazing age-defying skincare line which is still reasonably priced under $50), and they have an amazing charitable arm. Perfectly Posh does not claim to have any medicinal prop...

Nose Strips vs. Charcoal Mask

Haha. So occasionally I like to do some "outside the field" work and experiment with other brands. We saw these nose strips that were inexpensive and thought we'd try them out. First, let me start with there were 3 strips in the box for $1.00, so great price like I mentioned previously. Second, we read the directions on how to apply: Skin must be wet, peel off plastic sheet, apply, and leave on for 10-15 minutes. Then gently pull off. Here's where I got worried. Anything you have to peel off your skin is not good as it can create little microscopic tears on our face that's already so gentle. Also, t he smell of the strips also had pretty strong, plastic like smell. Hence our faces lol. Well, once we peeled and applied, we had some trouble keeping the strip on our noses. We tried to re-wet our noses to help it stick which helped a little, and allowed them to dry. I'll be honest, I was kind of excited to see that immediate gratification of white do...
