With school right around the corner, I decided to steal a fun idea I had seen a couple of my friends do--start an annual tradition of staying up ALL NIGHT. I had mentioned it to my oldest and she kept bugging me about it, so at the last minute I told her we would do it. It was very last minute (which is totally my style) and not very planned, as I forgot I had also told a friend I would cover her shift at the church. I quickly made some mashed potatoes, as requested by my husband to go with the beef tenderloin and sausage he brought home and left for work, and started loading up on coffee to get ready for our adventure (which is totally extra, but somewhat important info---especially the loading upon coffee part lol).
