Bass Pro Shops FREE Family Summer Camp Activities Start This Week

So my kids (and husband) LOVE checking out Bass Pro Shops. Our nearest location to the Killeen area is the Round Rock Shop. Mother's Day Craft at IKEA Round Rock

On Friday, May 11th and Saturday, May 12th IKEA invites you to join them in front of Smaland from 1-3pm to create a craft for Mother’s Day!

Muddy Miler Family Adventure

 Saturday we headed out to Round Rock for their free annual Muddy Miler Family Adventure , and we had A BLAST!!  :) The storms the day before made for some even muddier conditions! The race goes off in waves and they use pumps to use the pond water to keep the obstacle extra muddy during the course.  The mile-long course includes.a water slide down the hill into a puddle of water, army crawling through the mud, Climbing a muddy hill of tires, and wade through chest high ice pit. They literally throw ice chest full of ice into the water holes! There were 3 different water holes: one for the littles, one for the bigger kids, and one for the adults-- where we have to go head under water mid-point! I unfortunately forgot about my phone when I did it, so it is now sitting in a bowl of rice.  There was a station where you had to climb the wooden towers, and jump (or go under) wooden hurdle like things.
