Killeen ISD: Pre-k and Kindergarten Round-Up 8/1 and 8/2

If you missed the early round up in May, that's okay! Killeen ISD happens to be the 26th largest and fast-growing district in Texas, and expects nearly 45,000 student enrollments for the 2018-2019 school year alone. We know there are many families coming and going through the greater Killeen-Ft Hood Area, and there's still time to register your little ones before the new school year begins  on August 27th, 2018! So, how do you know if you're child will be attending Killeen ISD? If you live in any of these zoned areas (Nolanville, Harker Heights, Killeen, Ft Hood), you are more than likely included.

Do note that Prekindergarten is NOT based on a first come, first served basis. If your child qualifies for prekindergarten, your child will have a place in the prekindergarten program. <3

On-campus registration will be held Wednesday, Aug 1st and Thursday August 2nd, 2018 from 9am-6pm. For KISD Attendance Zones visit www.killeenisd.org, click on STUDENTS & PARENTS, and then click on Attendance Zones/Rezoning. 

Here are the required Documents and Eligibility Guidelines for those planning to register:

• Current proof of residency within KISD (such as a utility bill or lease contract)
• Certified Birth Certificate
• Immunization Records
• Social Security Card
• Report Card/Records from Previous School

Applications for Free and Reduced meals are now available online or pick up an application at your student’s campus for the 2018-2019 school year.
