LOL. It seriously is dried up!  The fruit slices I put in my dehydrator, that is! SO I had an awesome friend who gifted me her Dash Dehydrator after finding she was "too impatient." --Her words, not mine. Just my luck because we get a bountiful of fruit and veggies all the time and had been looking into getting one! YAY! So why a dehydrator ? It preserves the food, keeping the nutrients without the water. It's convenient and doesn't take up room in your fridge because it can be stored in a cabinet. With school right around the corner, I decided to steal a fun idea I had seen a couple of my friends do--start an annual tradition of staying up ALL NIGHT.  I had mentioned it to my oldest and she kept bugging me about it, so at the last minute I told her we would do it. It was very last minute (which is totally my style) and not very planned, as I forgot I had also told a friend I would cover her shift at the church. I quickly made some mashed potatoes, as requested by my husband to go with the beef tenderloin and sausage he brought home and left for work, and started loading up on coffee to get ready for our adventure (which is totally extra, but somewhat important info---especially the loading upon coffee part lol). So with School about to start, Summer has totally gotten the best of us and I have to say, I've been slacking a little on my post. My apologies! To make it up, here are some awesome and fun finds we've found at a few of our local Dollar Tree Stores!  8" x 8" sequin pillows! We may have all go one of our own! Talk about a stress reliever!
