Okay, so one of the great things about Perfectly Posh is that we have access to pre-made samples that we can get for free when we use our Posh Perks. Many times though it's more business savvy to order full-size products from our website and make our own samples. When doing so, we earn commission on that purchase, it helps us reach our goals to promote and get paid, you can try it and see if you like it, AND it can be used as a Tax Deduction for our home-based businesses because it's a Tester.
One thing I want to make sure of when making my own samples, is that they still come across as professional and neat looking. Here are some tools that I use daily to package products for gift-giving and sample packs.
6.5" x 9.5" Clear Resealable Cellophane Mailers
This size sealing cello bags are great for putting together sample packs to give out or send in the mail (just throw on a adhesive address label and you're set.) I especially like these because other people (like the mailhandler) can easily see what Posh is and my info is shown as well. You can mail one out with just a post card (the new ones in the Posh Portal are amazing!), and 2 samples using just a purple Non-machineable Butterfly stamp for just $0.71, as long as it is less than 1 oz and 1/4 inch thick! In theory it would be like sending an oversized card in the mail. [Note: I have the chunks pictured, which are obviously thicker than 1/4 of a inch.]
Multicolored Crinkle Shredded Paper Easter Basket Grass Filler - These are great to dress up any gift. I suggest checking out your local Dollar Tree first, but these are next best thing for convenience :)

Mylar Foil Open Top Heat and Seal Bags - These are perfect for making your own samples and come in a variety of colors. You can put how little or how much of a product you would like, then you can seal with a flatiron on low heat. I then use the premade stickers available in the Posh Portal, but you can easily make your own using 1" circles, or use the blank ones also found in the portal. They mail easily in a card, in a catalog (I like to hold in place using Glue Dots), or in a clear cello mailer.

3" x 11"Crystal Clear Cello/cellophane Bags -
I have had great success with pre-made gift sets for Christmas and Teacher Gifts and my vendor events. These size cello bags can snuggly fit 5 Fizi Bath Bombs; make great packaging for Mini Posh to Meet You Sets (1 lip balm, 1 Chunk Sample, and 1 BFYHC Sample), or even cute pre-made pampering Bath Gifts (Fizi Bath Bomb and 1 Chunk Sample).
Poly Bubble Mailer Self Seal Padded Envelopes
and these non-padded 10x13 inch Poly Mailer Envelope Shipping Bags, Tear Proof & Powerful Self Seal Adhesive Postal Bags from Pack It Chic (both available in assorted colors)
I like the 10 x 13 because they fit our catalogs, but can easily size down if needed. These mailers usually ship for $3-$8 depending on where it's headed and what all I pack in there. I love them because they are so many designs...pick one to go with the season, our Catalog theme, or whichever catches your eye. It makes getting mail for the receiver even more fun, plus it's eye-catching and a possible conversation starter at the post office! :)
My best, and most favorite way to send a sample (as well as least expensive) is to send a sample in a thinking of you, thank you, special occasion, or just because style card. I also like to find some that fit whatever theme or season we are doing at the moment (i.e. mermaids, space,back-to-school, etc). Seriously, who doesn't love finding a hand-written note amongst the pile of never-ending bills? Dollar Tree is a great place to look as they usually have a package of 6-8 blank cards for just $1. There's so many to choose from--here are a few of my faves:
