Dollar Tree Run 5/4

Guys, I have to be honest. I make at least 2 trips a week to Dollar Tree...more if I go out of town and see one! LOL. You just never know what another store might get that your local one hasn't....or there may be a different color or style. I will say having a variety of them (7 within a 20 mile radius to be exact, with 1 more to open soon!), so I have a chance to mix up which ones I go to.

May is the month to celebrate Mother's Day, Graduation, Teacher Appreciation, and Nurse's Week, so if you're looking for party decorations or fillers for a gift basket, I highly recommend checking out Dollar Tree!

 Here's my recent finds:

There was a nice new shipment of DVDs and BluRay Discs. I found My Little Pony, Pocoyo, Tekken 2, The-A List and so many more! The last time DT had a movie buyout, I found Rio 2, Adam Sandler movies, Sonic the Hedgehog movies and so many other great titles! It's never too early to be thinking stocking stuffers!

Why not be a little adventurous? You can with this temporary hair color that washes out.

Dollar Tree always has an amazing assortment of books. I even found several home improvement books, valued way over $1.
My kids LOVE Legos. Unfortunately, the can also get expensive. These actually fit the name brand construction blocks, come in an assortment of colors, and there were even base plates, all for just $1 each!

Where's my fridge magnet lovers? I like to include these in my monthly SPAboxes occassionally. I love inspirational quotes so of course I couldn't pass these by! There were some that were on canvas and others that were porcelain. They're great in lockers, at the work desk, and the good 'ol fashioned refrigerator.
How adorable are all these jarred candles?! And they actually smell good!! I bought several different ones to put in my May Mermaid Inspired #SPAboxes!

You can only have so many candle holders, right? These would be great to put spare change in, use as a pen/pencil holder on a desk, a makeup brush  holder, and so much  more!
OMG! The saying on these are the best! I love these because they're only $1 and they'll help you get your daily fill of H20! I bought a few, filled with colorful paper shred that I bought after Easter for $0.25, put some pampering samples, a caffeinated lip balm, a Starbucks gift card, wrapped it up and tied with curling ribbon for my kiddos teachers for Teacher Appreciation week.
These are sooooooo cute! And when I went back they were all gone! So if you see them and want them, get them! LOL.
There was a nice new mix of name brand nail polishes at my visit last week from Wet N Wild and Sinful Colors. Do you know, I have even bought OPI from Dollar Tree?? It's not as common, but it does happen!

If you missed out on the solid gold and rose gold colored Mermaid and Unicorn ones, I found an assortment of Trinkets/Ring Holders around the Mother's Day items. I would say they were more tranquil as I found Buda, feathers, and wings.
How cute are these sticky notes? I think it would be a great add-on for teacher's and administrative gifts.

My favorite gift to give little ones is outdoor and activity type toys, so when I find name brand ones like these Color Alive and Color Alive 2.0 at a great price (I found elsewhere for $3.50-$5.99), I like to grab a few for my stash. These ones can be used with a free downloadable app, and include 7 Crayola crayons.

HOUSEHOLD/CLEANING SUPPLIES

This is a great deal! I often buy this Butche Boy brand in a larger jar from Big Lots, but this one is a good size and price if you're on a budget. Coconut  oil is great not only for cooking, but skin, nails, and hair.

I love Mr. Clean MagicErasers. They're great for cleaning scuffs on shoes, as well as random scuffs on the floor and walls

.

Swiffer Dusters are great for getting the little ones to help out around the house!

Free Museum Admission for EBT and WIC Recipients

So I know anytime someone mentions EBT, some folks can get their panties in a bunch. But let's be real. People work, people have families, and sometimes that job doesn't cover all the bills and it often comes to a point where you have to choose to pay Bills or Food. And if you're having to choose between those 2 big questions, there's no doubt that a fun, educational family trip to the museum is freely scheduled on your agenda. (Insert sarcasm) :p    If you happen to find yourself asking these questions, you may qualify for assistance. Please contact by phone or this link:  2-1-1  to see what benefits you and/or your family may be eligible for.  Did you know that there are several places that actually allow you free, or reduced, admission when you show your card and/or proof of eligibility throughout the U.S.A. through    Museums for All , a national initiative that encourages families to visit museums regularly and build lifelong museum habits. When going, I would
